“Your Patient is Out Again,” Says Bobrisky Amidst Leaked Call Controversy

By Abigail Philip David

Controversial crossdresser Idris Okuneye, popularly known as Bobrisky, has responded following the release of a leaked phone call by social media influencer Martins Otse, also known as VeryDarkMan.

In the wake of the leaked recording on Monday, Bobrisky took to his Instagram story, posting, “Nurse Titi, your patient is out again,” in what appeared to be a subtle jab.

Reports indicate that the leaked call features Bobrisky allegedly claiming that, contrary to public belief, he was not in prison but in a well-furnished apartment near the facility, with access to his mobile phone. He also reportedly denied involvement in money laundering, stating that his wealth comes from legitimate sources, including earning as much as $100,000 from social media influencing.

This follows a previous controversy in September when VeryDarkMan shared an audio recording in which Bobrisky purportedly admitted to bribing Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) officials with N15 million to dismiss money laundering charges against him. The charges came after Bobrisky was convicted for naira mutilation and sentenced to six months in jail.

Bobrisky, however, denied the bribery claims and maintained that he had never been involved in money laundering, urging the public to dismiss these accusations.
