The Chairman, Nigeria Governors’ Forum and Presidential Aspirant on the platform of the All Progressives Congress,APC, Dr Kayode Fayemi says his administration would improve on the gap between the rich and poor as well as reduce poverty among Nigerians if elected president.
Dr Fayemi who is the Governor of Ekiti made this pledge in Makurdi while addressing stakeholders and delegates to solicit their support ahead of the presidential primary. He said that his government will accord agriculture the topmost priority if he becomes the next president.
The Aspirant assured that he will tackle insecurity in the country and review the Military structure to achieve this. ” If you vote me as president, I will look into the intelligence collection, end insecurity and we will revisit the Military structure.”
Continuing he further assured that Nigerians under his watch would experience robust transportation. ” Every Nigerian would have a sense of belonging and a sense of justice. We will do away with the problem of inequality and poverty.
We will need to improve on the gap between the rich and the poor. I have come with a sense of humility to sell myself, and if you give me this opportunity, I will improve the living conditions of all Nigerians.”
Responding on behalf of members, Chairman, APC in Benue State, Mr Austin Agada assured the Aspirant that Benue APC is with him in the course of his ambition to govern the nation.
