LALONG, PLATEAU APC STALWARTS CONDOLE BEREAVED FAMILIES IN JOS

Leader of the APC in Plateau State and Senator representing Plateau South Senatorial District Simon Bako Lalong has led other top stalwarts of the party on condolence visits to families of four prominent Plateau individuals who recently died.

Lalong in company of the former Deputy Speaker House of Representatives Rt. Hon. Idris Wase, Party Chairman Hon. Rufus Bature, Member Representing QuanPan, Shendam, Mikang Federal Constituency Hon. John Dafaan, former APC Gubernatorial Candidate Dr. Nentawe Yilwatda and some former Commisioners began with a visit to the family of Late Musa Daniel Izam, a Professor of Theoretical Physics at the University of Jos.
He said the death of the academic and community leader was a great loss to the entire State and Nigeria at large.

The team was also at the residence of late Justice Adamu Sha, a retired President of Appeal, Plateau State to condole with his wife and children.

Senator Lalong described the late Jurist who also became a traditional ruler as a man of peace and justice.

At the residence of Hon. Emmanuel Agait, a former Commissioner of Finance in Plateau State, Senator Lalong described him as a patriotic and dutiful person who served with diligence.

He asked the family to be consoled by the fact that he left behind a good legacy.

During the visit to a former Senatorial Candidate of the APC for Plateau North Amb. Chris Giwa who lost his father recently, Lalong asked him to accept the demise of his father as the will of God and pray for the repose of his soul.

All the families appreciated the former Governor and his entourage for their words of comfort which they said brings succour to their grieving hearts.
