The Sokoto State Ministry of Information and Orientation has expressed its willingness to collaborate with Alu TV Nigeria to highlight the developmental projects being executed by the current administration. This announcement was made by the Commissioner of Information and Orientation, Alhaji Sambo Bello Danchadi, during a courtesy visit by the General Manager of Alu TV Nigeria, Malam Bashar Abubakar, and his team.
Alhaji Danchadi praised the establishment of Alu TV, recognizing it as a testament to the foresight and vision of the station’s owner, Senator Wamakko, for advancing the development of Sokoto State through educational and informative programming. He assured the station of full cooperation from the ministry to amplify the state’s various projects.
The Permanent Secretary of the Ministry, Alhaji Ibrahim Muhammad, also spoke on plans to align the ministry’s initiatives with Governor Ahmed Aliyu’s 9-point agenda. He highlighted the importance of collaboration with Alu TV in engaging the public and gathering feedback to improve the state’s development efforts.
In response, Malam Bashar Abubakar emphasized the station’s role in promoting the achievements of Governor Aliyu’s administration. Established in 2015 and fully operational since last year, Alu TV is watched across 55 African countries and produces 30 programs in diverse fields, including daily news in English and Hausa. Abubakar expressed his commitment to working closely with the Ministry to effectively serve the people of Sokoto State.
