By Muhammad Ibrahim, Sokoto

The Sokoto State chapter of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) has announced, with deep sorrow, the passing of Hon. Bello Liman Labani, the party’s Zonal Organising Secretary for Sokoto Central.

Hon. Labani is remembered as a distinguished gentleman and respected figure who made notable contributions to the development of Sokoto State and Nigeria at large. The party described him as a devoted servant who dedicated his life to the service of the Sokoto Caliphate, the nation, and humanity.

In a statement, the party’s Publicity Secretary in the state, Hassan Sahabi Sanyinnawal, offered prayers for the deceased, asking Almighty Allah to forgive his shortcomings and grant him Aljannat Firdaus.
