Malam Ibrahim Khaleel: An Islamic Scholar of All Times

By Kabiru Funtua, Kano

Sheikh Ibrahim Khaleel has remained a dedicated Islamic scholar, consistently working for unity, progress, and peaceful coexistence in line with Islamic teachings.

Beyond his scholarship, Malam Ibrahim Khaleel is also recognized as a resourceful politician whose policies have brought benefits to both leaders and the governed, particularly under the current democratic dispensation.

He is gradually changing the face of Kano politics, shifting it from rivalry-driven contests to a more constructive and profitable opposition that promotes development and the collective good of the people.

It is my belief that Malam Ibrahim Khaleel will continue to bring sanity to politics, especially at a time when political rivalry often escalates during campaigns and elections.

I wish to commend my mentor, Malam Ibrahim Khaleel—an Islamic scholar of all times and a politician who practices politics with development-driven policies.
