…Says South East Will Reciprocate with Support for Tinubu’s Re-election

President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has reaffirmed his commitment to inclusive economic prosperity for all sections of Nigeria.
The President gave the assurance during the celebration of the Silver Jubilee of the traditional ruler of Amaifeke community in Orlu Local Government Area and Chairman of the Imo State Council of Traditional Institutions, His Royal Majesty Eze Dr. E.C. Okeke, Ezeudo II of Amaifeke Ancient Kingdom. The event was held at Eze Imo Palace, Owerri.
Represented by the Minister of Works, Senator David Umahi, the President congratulated Eze Okeke on his 25 years of royal reign, describing him as a man of integrity and a leadership asset to Imo State, the South East, and the nation.
He noted that the South East occupies a pride of place in his Renewed Hope Agenda, citing ongoing infrastructure projects in the region such as the Onitsha–Enugu Road, Owerri–Aba Road, Enugu–Port Harcourt Expressway, Enugu–Abakaliki dualization, and the Calabar–Ebonyi–Benue–Nasarawa–Abuja Renewed Hope Legacy Project.
Umahi urged the people of the South East to reciprocate Tinubu’s inclusiveness with unanimous support for his re-election in 2027, stressing that the region has never had it so good in terms of economic and political integration.
In his remarks, the Governor of Imo State, Senator Hope Uzodimma, commended Eze Okeke for his leadership as Chairman of the South East Council of Traditional Rulers. He praised him as a royal father who embodies humility, integrity, and dedication to the service of his people.
