SPL: Cristiano Ronaldo’s Eight Conditions to End Al-Nassr Strike Revealed

Details have emerged regarding Cristiano Ronaldo’s conditions for ending his week-long standoff with Saudi Pro League side Al-Nassr.

The 41-year-old forward has been absent from the club’s last two matches, opting not to join the squad despite continuing to train with the team.

According to Saad Al-Subaie, a former legal director at Al-Nassr, Ronaldo has reportedly laid out eight conditions—four relating to the current season and four for the next—before he agrees to return to competitive action.

Among his key demands is reduced interference by the Public Investment Fund (PIF) in the club’s day-to-day affairs, alongside stronger backing in the transfer market.

Ronaldo is also said to be pushing for the immediate reinstatement of club CEO Jose Semedo and Sporting Director Simao Coutinho, both of whom were suspended last year. He further wants assurances that sufficient funds will be made available to strengthen the squad, while urging the PIF to refrain from direct involvement in team operations.

In addition, the Portuguese star reportedly wants decisive action taken against anyone attempting to undermine the club’s leadership.

Looking ahead to next season, Ronaldo is believed to be seeking the signing of high-quality players, similar to the reinforcements brought in by rival clubs. He is also asking for the extension of head coach Jorge Jesus’ contract to ensure continuity and stability in the club’s sporting project.

Another key request is greater clarity on the long-term nature of PIF’s support for Al-Nassr.

Ronaldo’s dissatisfaction reportedly stems from the club’s failure to secure major signings during the mid-season transfer window. He skipped the match against Al-Riyadh on deadline day and also missed the subsequent clash with Al-Ittihad.

While he has continued training with the squad, reports suggest uncertainty remains over his future at the club amid growing speculation about a possible exit.
