A youth leader and activist, Prince Miaphen, has announced his intention to contest for the House of Representatives seat representing Qua’anpan/Shendam/Mikang Federal Constituency. In a statement issued in Jos, Miaphen said his decision is driven by a commitment to public service and development, citing his experience in leadership and activism at both state and national levels.He outlined priorities including attracting federal projects in education, healthcare, agriculture, rural development, and entrepreneurship.
Miaphen also emphasised plans to support youth and women through programmes aimed at job creation, skills development, and economic empowerment.He pledged to promote transparency, accountability, and inclusive representation if elected, describing his candidacy as a call to serve the people of the constituency.
The aspirant expressed support for the policies of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu and alignment with the development agenda of Plateau State Governor Caleb Mutfwang.Miaphen, a former student leader associated with the National Association of Nigerian Students, is regarded by supporters as a grassroots mobiliser with networks across Plateau State.
