KWASFEST: Asa tops medals table on Day 3

Asa Local Government on Wednesday afternoon topped the medals table at the ongoing Kwara State Sports Festival (KWASFEST) with eight medals.

The council has three Gold, One Silver and Four Bronze.

Ilorin South placed second with four medals made up of two Gold, and two Bronze medals while Ilorin West placed third with two gold medals.

Ifelodun emerged fourth with one Gold, three Silver, five Bronze medals while Oyun placed fifth with one Gold, one Silver, two Bronze medals.

Isin has one Gold, one Silver to place sixth while Moro has one Silver, two Bronze to place seventh with Offa and Kaiama holding on to one Silver and one Bronze to be jointly placed eighth.

The games, which started on Jan. 25, is expected to end on Saturday.

Athletes from the 16 local governments in the state are featuring in 26 events. (NAN)
