Insecurity: I won’t allow my Administration to be intimidated – Gov Ortom

By Isaac Kertyo, Makurdi

Benue State Governor, Samuel Ortom has restated his administration’s readiness to arrest and persecute any person caught perpetrating evil, violating the Anti Open Grazing Prohibition Law among others.

Ortom challenged any person who has contrary view on the nation’s state of insecurity which he has been raining to a public debate.

The Governor who made his position known on Friday at the burial ceremony of his elder brother, Engr. Samuel Atule held at Nzorough in Guma Local Government Area of Benue State, said he was ready to sponsor such a debate on both national and international televisions.

Continuing, he contended that with the backing from the people of the state, he wouldn’t allow his administration to be intimidated into submission. He implored the people to desist from acts that are inimical to the growth of the state.

Ortom applauded those who stood by them during their moment of grief, even as he prayed to God to have mercy on them.

Earlier in a sermon, Rev. Mike Uger enjoined Christians to prepare themselves by seeking the face of God and following His words. He admonished believers to always think about their end.
