Gov Bala appoints NUJ Dep. President as media aide

The newly sworn in Governor of Bauchi State, Senator Bala Muhammad has appointed the NUJ Deputy President, Comrade Mukhtar Gidado as his Senior Special Assistant (SSA) on Media.

 

This was contained in a press statement issued by the Governor’s spokesman, Dr Ladan Salihu and made available to newsmen in Bauchi yesterday.

 

The statement also said Alhaji Muhammad Sabi’u Baba has been appointed as Secretary to the State Government,

 

Others appointment approved by the Governor include Alhaji Abubakar Kari as Chief of Staff,w hile Alhaji Bashir Yau, Deputy Chief of staff to the Deputy Governor and Alhaji Umaruji Hassan as chief protocol.

 

According to the statement, all the appointments are with immediate effect.
