Athletic Club Beats Real Madrid 2-1 in La Liga Thriller

Athletic Club earned a thrilling 2-1 victory over Real Madrid in their latest La Liga showdown. Played at San Mamés, the match featured a dramatic second half. Athletic took the lead in the 53rd minute when Álex Berenguer netted a stunning goal, putting the hosts ahead.

Real Madrid responded in the 78th minute, with star midfielder Jude Bellingham leveling the score after a well-placed header. However, just when it seemed Madrid might secure a point, Athletic Club’s Gorka Guruzeta scored in the dying moments of injury time (90+1′) to give the hosts all three points.
