Numbering about 30, all the protesters neatly bears placards with different inscriptions in their hands reading “Ayu Must” amongst others.

State however officials denied any links with the protesting youth when contacted, saying that not even a letter to the party to that regard was received from them prior before the action.

The officials also denied knowing or addressing the “Ayu must go” protesters, also adding that they did not enter the premises of the party Secretariat but only in front of the building.

Efforts to speak to the furious protesters was futile because of the inability to know the leader of the group allegedly sponsored by unknown hands of a politician.

A number of journalists, mostly from electronic media, who were invited for the coverage of the protest were on also ground at the time our reporter stormed there by accident.
Recalled that the Hullabaloos concerning Ayu must be dropped as PDP chairman, championed by Rivers state Governor Barr. Nyesom Wike has been in the front burner in the national news.
