“Crystal Palace to Make Bid for Iheanacho as Potential Transfer Unfolds”

By  Milcah  Tanimu

Crystal Palace, a prominent team in the English Premier League, is reportedly preparing a bid for Leicester City striker Kelechi Iheanacho.

Multiple sources suggest that Crystal Palace is gearing up to present an offer in the range of £12 million to £13 million for the Nigerian international. Leicester City is believed to be open to negotiating with the club.

Iheanacho, who is 24 years old, has one year left on his current contract with Leicester City. It’s reported that he is not interested in participating in the Sky Bet Championships this season following Leicester City’s relegation to the second division in the previous season.

In the upcoming days, Crystal Palace is aiming to secure the services of the forward. He is being considered as a potential replacement for Jean-Philippe Mateta, who is on the brink of departing the club for either Leipzig or Borussia Dortmund.

Iheanacho initially joined Leicester City from Manchester City in 2018.
