By  Milcah  Tanimu

Borussia Dortmund claimed a vital 2-0 win against Dinamo Zagreb in their UEFA Champions League group-stage encounter. The match, held in Croatia, saw standout performances from Julian Ryerson and Julien Duranville, while Serhou Guirassy delivered a decisive second-half goal to seal the win.

Despite Dinamo Zagreb’s resilience, including efforts from Marko Pjaca and Arber Hoxha, Dortmund’s tactical superiority and solid defense proved too much. The victory boosts Dortmund’s chances of advancing to the knockout stages while extending Dinamo Zagreb’s winless streak against German teams to eight matches.

Dortmund remains in a strong position in the group, showcasing their determination to dominate the Champions League this season.
