Gov Alia Felicitates with Gov Uzodinma Over re-election

Benue State Governor, Rev Fr Hyacinth Alia, has congratulated the incumbent Governor of Omo State, Hope Uzodinma over his victory in last Saturday’s governoship polls held in the state.

The Governor in his felicitations through his Chief Press Secretary, Tersoo Kula, described the landslide victory of Governor Uzodinma who polled, 540, 308 votes against the PDP’s 71, 508 and labour Party’s 64,081 votes as heartwarming.

Governo Alia stressed that the wide margin is an indication of the trust and love the people of Imo have in his policies and programs, and the APC as a Party.

He assured the Governor of his continued support and cordial working relationship for the progress of their state and the country as a whole.

The Governor urged Hope Uzodinma to use his victory as a platform to continue to offer purposeful leadership to the people of Imo State and beyond.

He pray that God Almighty should continue to grant the Governor good health and long life as he steers the affairs of the state.
