Jos South APC Endorses Tinubu for 2027

By Israel Adamu, Jos

Stakeholders of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Jos South Local Government Area of Plateau State have endorsed President Bola Ahmed Tinubu as their sole candidate for the 2027 general elections.

The decision was reached at a stakeholders’ meeting held in the council area over the weekend.

At the meeting, the party leaders also passed a vote of confidence in the state chairman of the APC, Hon. Rufus Bature, commending his leadership and commitment to the party’s growth.

A communiqué jointly signed by Hon. John Pius Dung, Hon. Bitrus Bajei, and Tadi Christopher Chuwang noted that the meeting aimed to address lingering leadership issues in the local government and chart a path for unity and progress.

The meeting, convened by the member representing Jos South in the Plateau State House of Assembly, Hon. Isaac Dalyop, with the authority of the state chairman, also commiserated with the APC National Chairman, Prof. Nentawe Yilwatda, over the passing of his mother.

The stakeholders stressed that unity, discipline, and loyalty remain paramount for the APC in Jos South and urged members to prioritize the party’s interest above personal ambitions.

They reaffirmed their commitment to the leadership of Hon. Rufus Bature at the state level and to the national leadership under Prof. Yilwatda Goshwe, pledging to work together to secure victory for the APC in future elections and promote good governance.
