Miyetti Allah Cattle Breaders endorsed Gov. Ishaku for second term.

Miyetti Allah Cattle Breaders Association of Nigeria, North East Zone, has endorsed the Taraba state governor, Darius Dickson Ishaku for second term in office.

The Association made the endorsement during their visit to Governor Darius Dickson Ishaku at the Government House Jalingo.

Speaking during the visit, Chairman of the Miyetti Allah cattle breaders Association of Nigeria Northeast Zone, Umar Mafindi Danburam said the endorsement of Governor Darius Dickson Ishaku and Atiku Abubakar  was timely inview of the effective leadership that the country needs.

Danburam thanked Governor Ishaku for his patience despite the rebelious role they  played during the enactment of the Open grazing and establishment law promising to be law abiding.

The Chairman maintained that the ranching law was designed to benefit the Fulani’s and advised Government for modification of the law that would not temper with rearing of cow in the state.

He decried the lost of lives and property in some crisis spots in the state calling on the state Government to be wary of alien elements in their mist.

Responding, Governor Darius Dickson Ishaku thanked them for endorsing him for the second term and promised to always carry everybody along in his quest of governance of the state.

Ishaku remarked that the Open Grazing and establishment law was initiated to improve the living condition of cattle rearers emphasizing that the Fulani’s were misled by some persons who did not wish them well.

The governor assured them of a plain playing ground like he has always done in the past for the sake of peace and harmony.

Alsi speaking Senator Representing Taraba North at the red hallowed chamber, Shuaibu Isah Lau and Special Adviser on Political matters Abubakar Bawa accompanied the team to the Government House.

Ardos in all the Local Government Area of the state, Members of the Miyetti Allah Cattle Breaders Association,Tabita kautel Pulako, Dandalin Makiyaya and others attended the the function.
