More Police testify No Sex Party in Kaduna Asher restaurant

Another witness Police Officer who carried out search operation on the Kaduna purported sex party on Monday told court that there was no sex party in Asher kings and queens restaurant as claimed.

The officer Corporal Thaddeus Samson disclosed the information during crossing examination in court during continuation of hearing in Magistrate court in kaduna on Monday.

The witness who was presented before the Chief Magistrate Court by prosecutor ASP Shola Olodowa however told the court that he saw some people dressed half necked on the 27th day of December, 2020, when the incident occurred.

Corporal Thaddeus Samson who was attached to Sabon Tasha division told the court that, it was Inspector Felix Godwin who gave them information about the purported sex party.

Samson also said that “Yes there was no sex party in Asher restaurant and lounge on that day, the only source of our information is the flyer and text message. But I saw some people dress half necked”.

He also said that Corporal Ibrahim Adamu was among the police officers who carried out the operation on the very day.

According to Corporal Samson, “We didn’t know the location of the sex party, someone directed us there, when we got there I saw a crowd of 50 upstairs and another 50 downstairs they were dancing and drinking”.

“We went there with 2 police hilux vehicle, I can’t really say how many of us, but we were not more than 8 personnel, some of us were armed”.

“Marvelous Akpan was the alleged to be the organizer but he denied it and apologized for his mistake”.
Samson also told the court that he has no evidence to prove that Marvelous Akpan booked Asher restaurant and Lounge for the purported sex party.

He also disclosed that none of the defendants were met half naked on the 27th of December, 2020.

“We didn’t arrest anybody who were half naked, because they jumped over the fence, none of the defendants were half naked”.
Sam Atung Esq represented the 2nd, 3rd and 4th respondent conducted the cross examination on the police witness said they are comfortable with the court proceeding.
The presiding Judge, Chief Magistrate Benjamin Hassan adjourned the matter to the 3rd of March, 2021 for continuation of hearing.

Recalled that the purported one storey building was demolished by Kaduna government to rubbles.
