By  Milcah  Tanimu

The Speaker of the Nasarawa State House of Assembly, Rt. Hon. Ibrahim Balarabe Abdullahi, has expressed strong support for the recent decision by the Presidential Election Petition Court (PEPC) confirming President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s rightful election as Nigeria’s President.

In this significant development, Speaker Abdullahi offered warm congratulations to President Tinubu and Vice President Senator Kashim Shettimah, as well as the ruling All Progressive Congress (APC). He hailed the court’s verdict as a reflection of the mandate entrusted to Mr. President and the APC by the Nigerian populace, urging all Nigerians to unite and support the President’s mission for success.

Furthermore, Speaker Balarabe Abdullahi commended the judiciary for delivering landmark judgments that align with the desires and aspirations of the Nigerian people, emphasizing the judiciary’s crucial role as the protector of the common man’s rights.

The Speaker also praised the meticulous efforts of the APC’s legal team, who presented their cases comprehensively and effectively, ultimately securing victory at the Presidential Election Petition Tribunal.

Shifting focus to Governor Abdullahi Sule’s first one hundred days in his second term in Nasarawa State, Speaker Balarabe Abdullahi noted that the groundwork for peace, unity, progress, and transformation had already been laid. He emphasized the remarkable development achieved in the last four years under Governor Abdullahi Sule’s leadership, with significant improvements in the state’s revenue base and an attractive investment climate.

He further highlighted that the first one hundred days of Governor Abdullahi Sule’s second term had set in motion the machinery for building upon previous accomplishments. The Speaker called upon the citizens of Nasarawa State to continue offering their prayers and support to the Governor, ensuring the successful implementation of his positive development initiatives.

In closing, Speaker Balarabe Abdullahi reassured Governor Abdullahi Sule of the Seventh Assembly’s unwavering commitment to providing all necessary support for the realization of his transformative agenda.
