” Drums support for Hon Rims ”

A group Tarok Youths Democratic Congress on Thursday called on the leadership of the People’s Democratic party PDP in Plateau state as well as the Plateau Governor elect Bar Caleb Mutfwang , to zone the position of the 10th Speaker of the State House of Assembly to Langtang South local government council of the state for the interest of fairness and justice.
The group also described the member elect representing Langtang South in the National assembly Hon. Nimchak Rims as the best man for the Job .
James Nanpar , the Chairman of the forum made this known in Jos in a statement made available to newsmen .
” Our group which is committed to promoting and upholding good governance through representative democracy, have deemed it needful, expedient and timely to support one of our finest young men, a Politician per excellence Hon Rims the member elect representing Langtang South to clinch the Speakership position in the forthcoming 10th Plateau state assembly .
Hon Rims is a grassroot politican and has all it takes to take the state house of assembly forward .
“As a group of Tarok Youths ,we hereby echo our support for the emergence of the Speaker of the House of Assembly to come from Langtang South ,they added .
The group expressed confidence in the capacity of Hon Rims to drive the affairs of the house adding that the member elect of Langtang South will complement the efforts of Governor elect Bar Caleb Mutfwang in building a prosperous Plateau .
The group expressed the commitment of the Youths to ensure that the next Speaker of the House emerged from Langtang South .
Mr Nanpar said it was only fair to concede the speakership slot to Langtang South , because Langtang North local government already has a Senator elect AVM Napoleon Bali ,a Federal lawmaker representing Langtang North/ Langtang South Hon Beni lar .
He said while there was nothing wrong in anyone nursing an ambition, this must engender peace and unity among the people.
I urge the Governor elect Bar Caleb Mutfwang to carry the people of Langtang South along in governance and zone the Speakership position to Langtang South .
