In a potential twist, Wilfred Ndidi, the midfielder from Leicester City, might make a return to the Premier League in the upcoming season.

The prominent Super Eagles player has emerged in connection with a possible transfer to Nottingham Forest.

A recent tweet by Fabrizio Romano on Sunday conveyed: “EXCLUSIVE: Wilfred Ndidi targeted by Nottingham Forest, with an imminent proposal anticipated for the Nigerian defensive midfielder. Personal terms are believed to be settled, paving the way for club negotiations to commence. Forest is determined to facilitate the transfer.”

Following Leicester City’s relegation last season, Ndidi’s fate took a new turn.
