CASSON’s Annual Conference In Kano Colourful With Even Representations.

Counselling Association Of Nigeria(CASSON) held it’s 47th Annual Conference in Kano with even attendance from the 36 states and FCT in a colourful deliberations.

The states presidents of the association were in Kano to participate in the remarkable event which was done at the convocation arena of the Bayero University, Kano where a full version of discussions were made to promote education and discipline.

Speaking at the occasion, the national president of the association Professor Malami Umar Tambawal who is also the Vice Chancellor, Shehu Shagari University Sokoto states that Counselling Association Of Nigeroa (CASSON) was formed to become as a tool for giving excellent guidance to the learners that are bound to becoming professionals in different carreers.

” CASSON was purely formed in order to serve as a good ladder of climbing the success in accordance with how the learners took advantage over what they intends to choose as their stage of progress and national service and we are always ready to ensure that our association continue to makes things more straight forward to our young ones”.

He commended the association’s members for being at the 47th annual Conference from all look and cranny of this country,and thanked the Kano state executives for their commitment towards the full success of the Conference respectively.

In his remark on behalf of the Kano state governor, the commissioner for education Honourable Haruna Doguwa disclosed that Kano state government is making good arrangements to restore education sector, adding that education would become an exemplary sector in the state and congratulates the association for being more steadfast in giving genuine counselling to students of all categories.

Responding to a question from our correspondent, the Rector, Kano state Polytechnic Dr. Kabir Bello Dungurawa states that ‘ We are happy with how the 47th annual conference was held in our state and from what we have realised, CASSON is now very much famous in the educational sector especially how we promote learning through good counseling to students”. He concluded.

The students of Various institutions who spoke to our correspondent lamented that the existence of Counselling association of Nigeria has brought good advantage of how a learners makes choose in careers and profession, urging the governments to directs the inclusion of the section in their schools for better educational progress.
