Senator Lalong Congratulates Prof. Danladi Atu on His 65th Birthday

Senator Simon Bako Lalong, representing Plateau South Senatorial District, extends warm birthday wishes to Prof. Danladi Abok Atu, the immediate past Secretary to the Government of Plateau State, as he marks his 65th birthday.

Senator Lalong praised Prof. Atu as a distinguished academic, politician, and administrator who has significantly contributed to the development of his community, Plateau State, and Nigeria. He commended Prof. Atu for using his extensive experience to serve the nation while also mentoring young people through his teaching and research.

Reflecting on his time in office, Senator Lalong recalled with admiration Prof. Atu’s pivotal role in the success of the Rescue Administration during his tenure as Secretary to the Government of Plateau State. He also recognized Prof. Atu’s contributions to the political landscape of Plateau State and Nigeria, as well as his dedication to the church, where he serves as a Knight of Saint Gregory the Great.

Senator Lalong wished Prof. Atu continued good health, divine protection, and happiness in the years to come.
