EID-UL-ADHA: SGF Calls For Reflection, Renewed Commitment To National Development

The Secretary to the Government of the Federation, Sen. George Akume, CON, heartily felicitates with all Nigerians, particularly the Muslim Ummah, on the occasion of Eid-ul-Adha 2025. 

This year’s celebration coincides with the 2nd Anniversary of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s administration, marking a significant milestone in Nigeria’s democratic journey. 

The SGF in a press statement signed by the Director, Information & Public Relations, Segun Imohiosen, Office of the Secretary to the Government of the Federation urges Nigerians to reflect on the life of Prophet Ibrahim, which symbolises faith, sacrifice, obedience and total reliance on the will of Allah.

He emphasises the need to seize the celebration to reflect deeply on the values of peace, unity, compassion, and patriotism.

Sen. Akume reaffirms the unwavering commitment of President Tinubu’s administration to delivering the dividends of democracy and ensuring that the sacrifices made by citizens yield tangible benefits in the nearest future through sustained reforms, inclusive economic growth, improved governance and security. 

The SGF, on behalf of the Federal Executive Council (FEC), extends his warm wishes for a peaceful, joyous, and spiritually fulfilling Eid-ul-Adha celebration to all Nigerians at home and in the diaspora.
