Kogi Govt Hails Tinubu Over Faleke’s Appointment, Describes It as Strategic Masterstroke

From Noah Ocheni, Lokoja

The Kogi State Government has expressed appreciation to President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, GCFR, over the appointment of Hon. James Abiodun Faleke as Renewed Hope Ambassador and Deputy Secretary, Party Outreach, Engagement and Mobilisation.

In a statement signed by the State Commissioner for Information and Communications, Kingsley Femi Fanwo, Governor Ahmed Usman Ododo described the appointment as “a strategic masterstroke” by the President, noting that placing “a national mobilising egghead in such a strategic position” would further strengthen the party’s outreach and engagement efforts nationwide.

Governor Ododo congratulated the experienced federal lawmaker on his new role, stating that his proven track record in political mobilisation and grassroots engagement makes him eminently qualified for the responsibility. He described the appointment as well-deserved and beneficial to the country.

The Governor assured Hon. Faleke of the full support of the Kogi State Government in advancing the Renewed Hope Agenda, expressing confidence that Nigerians would continue to experience its dividends in the years ahead.

He also commended the President for recognising competence, loyalty and performance in strengthening engagement and mobilisation efforts across the country.

Governor Ododo maintained that the policies of the Tinubu administration are gradually repositioning the nation’s economy, restoring fiscal discipline and laying a sustainable foundation for long-term prosperity. According to him, the ongoing reforms, though demanding, are necessary steps toward building a stronger and more self-reliant Nigeria.

The Governor urged Nigerians to sustain their support for the President, stressing that continuity in leadership would consolidate the gains of the Renewed Hope Agenda and accelerate national development. He added that re-electing President Tinubu would guarantee stability, policy consistency and improved welfare for citizens.
