Adamawa Government Bans Movement Of Heavy Trucks/ Tankers

The State Government has banned the movement of Heavy Duty Trucks, Tankers and Luxurious Buses from plying major Streets within Jimeta and Yola from 6am to 7pm till further notice as from Tuesday 11th August 2020.

This is because it has become noticeable that the movement of this category of vehicles within the capital has resulted in heavy traffic holdups, disruption in traffic flow and untold hardship on commuters.

Trucks, Tankers, Lorries, Luxurious Buses will be restricted to plying the Jimeta bypass, from PZ Roundabout to the Jimeta Bridge.

The State Police Command and Federal Road Safety Corps have been directed to enforce the ban effective from 6:00am tomorrow till further notice.
