Falgore Calls For Immediate Prosecution Of Edo Brutal Killings.

By Jabiru Hassan.

The Kano State House of Assembly Speaker, Rt. Hon. Jibril Ismail Falgore, has joined other prominent personalities across Nigeria in expressing his shock and sympathy for those affected by the tragic circumstances surrounding the Edo Brutal Killings.

He also urged the authorities concerned to take immediate action. In a statement released by the spokesperson for the Rt. Hon. Speaker, Kamaluddeen Sani Shawai, on Saturday, Falgore stated that such barbaric acts, as seen in the Edo Killings, should not go unpunished and that the criminals must be brought to justice.

Falgore further expressed his dismay, emphasizing that immediate action by the authorities concerned will not only deter escalation and recurrence but also restore the sanctity of our collective human values.

Falgore remarked that the culture of impunity should not prevail. Therefore, the Edo State Government, as well as the Federal Government, must take drastic measures to ensure the perpetrators are prosecuted accordingly.

On behalf of the Kano State House of Assembly, we condemn the Uromi, Edo State brutal killings of 16 individuals who were beaten and set on fire.

In light of these unfortunate incidents, we call for the immediate prosecution of those involved.
