Gwiwa Inaugurates Three Committees For Land And Property Assessment

Sequel to the approval of the sokoto state executive council for the execution of two flyovers in the state metropolis , dualisation and expansion of some township roads as well as construction of Sokoto state university teaching hospital and two premier hospitals in Tambuwal and Sabon Birni and subsequent posting of Bello Abubakar Gwiwa to oversee the affairs of the ministry of lands and housing, the ministry has today held a preliminary meeting to prepare for the task ahead.

Public Relations Officer of the Ministry ànd state chairman of Nigerian Union of Journalists,ISAH Abubakar Shuni made this known to newsmen today.

During the meeting which was chaired by newly posted commissioner in charge of the ministry , Alhaji Bello Abubakar Gwiwa , three committees were set up for land acquisition and property assessment for the approved projects .

According to the commissioner the projects are expected to commence very soon as the state government is fully prepared for the jobs.
The committees are expected to submit their reports latest by Monday next week .
