Again, gunmen abduct traditional ruler in Plateau

Gunmen have kidnapped the paramount ruler of Mhiship Nation in Pankshin Local Government Area of Plateau State, HRH Sunday Dajep .

Our correspondent gathered that the incident happened at Chip Community of Pankshin local government council of the state late Wednesday night .

Family source from the community who does not want his name in print told our correspondent that gunshots were heard at the palace of the monarch between 11 pm .

He was abducted thereafter ,he added .

Police Public Relations Officer for the Plateau police command, DSP Alfred Alabo confirmed the development go our correspondent.

He said investigation is ongoing to ensure that the traditional ruler is rescued and the culprits arrested .
