CLO, others set to appraise Gov Emmanuel’s Completion Agenda

The Civil Liberties Organisation (CLO), in conjunction with other Civil Society Organisations (CSOs) and Non-governmental Organisations (NGOs) has concluded arrangements for a one-day Roundtable to appraise the Completion Agenda of Governor Udom Emmanuel.

The Roundtable slated for Thursday in Uyo would also evaluate the Wealth Creation, Economic and Political Inclusion, Poverty Alleviation, Infrastructural Consolidation and Expansion, and Job Creation efforts of the Emmanuel’s administration in the past six years.

This was contained in a Press Statement endorsed by the Chairman and Secretary of the Roundtable Planning Committee, Comrade Nsemeke Udoakpan and Comrade (Barr.) Christopher Ekpo and made available to newsmen in Uyo yesterday.

The Roundtable according to the statement would be chaired by Professor Emmanuel Onwioduokit of the University of Uyo, while the Honourable Commissioner for Information and Strategy, Comrade Ini Ememobong would deliver a keynote address.

Discussants at the event would include the Commissioner for Environment, Mr Charles Udoh; Professor Trenchard Ibia; Professor Etok Ekanem; Professor Christopher Ekong; Professor Uduak Okon; Professor Desmond Wilson; Professor Ini Akpabio, and the state Chairman of Nigeria Labour Congress (NLC), Comrade Sunny James, among others.
