Tosin Adarabioyo Shines in FA Cup Team of the Round

Chelsea’s Tosin Adarabioyo delivered a remarkable performance in the Emirates FA Cup, earning him a place in Whoscored’s Team of the Round. The Nigerian defender was pivotal in Chelsea’s 5-0 victory over Morecambe at Stamford Bridge.

Career-First Brace

Tosin, a former Manchester City youth captain, netted his first career brace during the game. He opened the scoring in the 40th minute with a long-range strike assisted by Reece James. The goal deflected off a Morecambe defender, wrongfooting the goalkeeper.

His second goal came in the 70th minute, a spectacular finish set up by Tyrique George, another London-born Nigerian player.
